Your Presence, Ephemeral

Reflecting on the absence of emotional intimacy in my romantic life, this work has documented and visualized my thoughts surrounding intimacy, presence, and shame. Influenced by the documentary style of photography of the 1980s used by queer artists of the time, figures are composed to create paradoxical moments of intimacy and disconnect.
